We are looking for a KfW Technical Consultant with extensive experience in design and implementation of social marketing projects; and possess excellent knowledge and experience with KfW funding, policies and procedures.

The consultant will provide expert support with project development in field offices as well as PSI-Headquarter staff in KfW specific questions and matters.

Responsibilities

Your contribution

  1. KFW Deliverables:

 

  • Provide technical  support to PSI offices implementing projects funded by KfW, including creation and review of documents prior to their submission to KfW.
  • Create communication strategy that will be utilized between PSI and KfW.
  • Advise the leadership team on best practice related to regular exchanges and communications between PSI offices and KfW.
  • Provide technical expertise on interpretation and review of information and documentation derived from KfW and German development aid sources pertinent to PSI’s current and potential future interventions
  1. Social Franchise Deliverables

 

  • Develop a communication strategy for PSI’s HQ SRHT team and SF-team to further the development and performance of WCA’s social franchising projects in line with PSI’s global strategic orientation and goals.

 

  • Provide technical expertise to country offices on the design and implementation of social franchising projects.

 

  • Create a knowledge management system to enable sharing of lessons learnt within the region and also within PSI’s global social franchising network.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • You have significant experience in project management, development of social franchising project and communication strategy, implementation design within international development.
  • You have at least 7 years of experience with donor requirements budgets and public health programs.
  • You have a post graduate qualification in education, public health, MBA, or other relevant specialty.
  • You have lived and worked in a Francophone developing country.
  • You have extensive experience working with KFW
  • You are fluent in English and French.

A connector. You have experience working with Ministries of Health, national AIDS commissions and global health donors.

 

A Strategist and an innovator. Provide expertise in the development of communication and project implementation strategy. You have a strong interest in multi-sectoral approaches to development and a proven ability to produce results.
