Although Vietnam is rapidly developing economically and socially, these changes deliver a host of new health challenges to the Vietnamese people. Additionally, economic-growth benefits have yet to reach many children and other vulnerable populations.  PSI/Vietnam launched operations in early 2005 and has used commercial marketing strategies and targeted behavior change interventions to improve HIV prevention behaviors among most-at-risk populations (MARP), to conduct hypertension and diabetes prevention work and to begin malaria elimination activities.

We are looking for a Temporary Country Representative (CR) based in Hanoi, Vietnam to lead implementation of PSI’s awards in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH). The CR should have significant management and international experience with Gates, Global Fund and other donors, an interest in private sector approaches to development, and be capable of managing a diverse staff.  We are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering results in multi-million-dollar field offices and fast paced environments.
