The intern is responsible for providing support to program management functions in the Global Business Systems (GBS) department. The intern will have administrative and program responsibilities at work with PSI staff at all levels both in Washington and overseas. You will be responsible for providing finance and programmatic administrative support to the staff of the GBS department, ensuring smooth and timely flow of work. The position requires flexibility and willingness to assume varied duties and projects with an emphasis on finance and programmatic administrative tasks, as well as support the communications function of the GBS department.
The position requires excellent communication skills, understanding business problems and data use needs, seeing opportunities and proactively recommending solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals…and of course, be ready to learn new skills.
