Who we are

Founded over 50 years ago, PSI is a global nonprofit that makes it easier for people to live healthy lives and plan the families they desire. Through a locally rooted and globally connected network of local organisations, PSI works across 37 countries to support stronger, more resilient health systems and make quality, affordable care accessible to people where and when they need it. PSI’s origins as a leader in social marketing have grown into a broader mission as we seek to accelerate progress towards universal health coverage (UHC). Through working with the public and private sectors, we develop innovative solutions to complex global health challenges in primary health, sexual and reproductive health (SRH), malaria, HIV, and sanitation.

Join us!
Since 2012, PSI has been a leader in developing markets for sanitation. We support a portfolio of WASH projects in 10 countries, with a focus on advancing local leadership and innovation. In addition, we support other implementing organizations to strengthen their capacity to design and implement market-based sanitation (MBS) projects. We are a small, nimble, collaborative team that seeks consultants to complement our work.
