Who we are
Viya Health is the business arm of PSI that focuses on balancing commercial viability and social impact to deliver consumer-powered healthcare at scale through social enterprise entities in markets around the globe - including India, Southern Africa, Angola, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Paraguay, and Central America. Our vision is to design consumer-centric social enterprises that use a combination of digital and offline healthcare solutions to support consumers’ self-care journey, and give them choice, voice and agency in their health and well-being.
Viya Health is seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst to partner with the Head of Finance, the Vice President, the rest of the Finance Team and cross-functional teams across the company working on financial strategy and analysis, long-term business planning and scenario planning and analysis, fundraising, investor relations, new business development and corporate development initiatives. This role includes driving evaluation of key financial and business initiatives, leading financial modeling and the preparation of financial communications, and supporting the development of investor-facing and capital-raising materials.
This role requires a strong interest in solving puzzles with an ability to recognize patterns and collaborate via cross-functional partnership (Data, Marketing, Product, Sales) to drive decision-making.
Your contributions
As the Strategic Finance Analyst, you will work closely with senior leadership, business unit and department leaders supporting the development of annual operating plans (AOP), long range plans (LRP), periodic forecast updates, investment analysis and maintaining company KPI’s.
Primary Functions/Goals:
This is also not an exhaustive list of all tasks that an incumbent is expected to perform but is instead a summary of the primary responsibilities and requirements of the job. What are we looking for?
Recommended skills & abilities
The candidate we hire will embody PSI’s corporate values:
Measurement: You use hard evidence to make decisions and guide your work. You set clear goalposts in advance and explain clearly if you need to move them.
Pragmatism: You’ll strive to deliver the best possible result with the resources available. You won’t be paralyzed by a need to make things perfect.
Honesty: You own your mistakes and are open about your shortcomings – it’s the only way you’ll learn and improve.
Collaboration: You’ll quickly establish a mental map of whom you can rely on for what, on your team, at headquarters, and in our country offices – if you try to do it all yourself, you won’t succeed.
Trust: You accept limits to your sphere of control and give colleagues the benefit of the doubt.
Commitment: You are in it for the long-haul and want to grow with the organization, just like PSI serves its consumers and partners with host-country governments through thick and thin.
