With support from the Government of Mozambique and international donors such as the Royal Netherlands Embassy, DFID, USAID, CIFF, and other private foundations, PSI has worked in Mozambique since 1995. We have implemented social marketing and behavior change communications to deliver prevention and treatment products and services across various health areas, including sexual reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, malaria, WASH, and cervical cancer. In Mozambique, PSI manages the largest non-state network of family planning clinics supported by three donors; manages the leading condom and water treatment solution brands with outsourced sales and distribution through a $100 million annual private sector distributor, applies adaptive learning approaches to develop new approaches, markets and technologies across innovative adolescent family planning, private sector PHC/SRH provision, and cervical cancer projects – all powered by a data-driven culture leveraging a range of digital and evidence platforms. PSI/Mozambique differentiates itself by implementing innovative learning programs that inform and scale PSI’s programming, as well as national policy. The program is among PSI’s top CYP performers, has an annual budget of over $13 million, four offices in-country, and 200 staff.   We are looking for a Chief of Party to lead an anticipated $25 million 5-year USAID-funded project in Mozambique. The project will support the increase of sustainable access to sanitation services in Mozambique, focusing on small towns and peri-urban areas. The overall strategic goal is achieving improved well-being of communities, especially women and girls in Mozambique, by ensuring increased use and sustainable management of sanitation services via the two interrelated objectives: 1) Availability of water and sanitation services expanded; 2) Adoption of key WASH behaviors accelerated.   Sound like you? PSI is looking for an individual or a firm with expertise in Human Centered Design to develop educational/promotional materials and job aids within the field of sexual reproductive health programs. The individual will work in close coordination with PSI’s Director of Programs, Marketing Director, and PSI’s global marketing and health teams.    Project Context PSI is launching a USAID-funded project focused on the provision of integrated cervical cancer screening and voluntary family planning services in Maputo and Gaza provinces. The project is testing multiple service delivery models through fixed and mobile outreach to reach women above 30 years and women living with HIV. Women will be offered integrated voluntary family planning and cervical cancer screening services (e.g., HPV testing). All women who test positive for high-risk HPV will be offered preventive treatment using thermal ablation and/or additional follow up, as needed.
