JOB TITLE: Population & Reproductive Health and Maternal & Child Health Supply Planning Analyst BUSINESS UNIT: GHSCO PSM – Global Supply Chain               JOB LOCATION: Arlington, VA                 REPORTS TO: Manager, Plan Team                          General Summary The Supply Planning Analyst will be part of the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project on the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team, and will work with GSC’s Plan Team to manage orders for population & reproductive health and maternal & child health commodities and assist with other commodities as they move through the Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs). This will be accomplished by monitoring inventory, coordinating with procurement specialists and the Deliver/Return Team, developing replenishment needs for the RDCs and supplier forecasts, and working toward overall supply chain efficiencies to ensure on-time delivery.

JOB TITLE: Population & Reproductive Health and Maternal & Child Health Procurement Specialist, GHSC-PSM BUSINESS UNIT: GHSC-Procurement and Supply Management JOB LOCATION: Arlington, VA REPORTS TO: Population & Reproductive Health and Maternal & Child Health Supervisor, GHSC-PSM   General Summary  The Global Health Supply Chain-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project is the primary vehicle through which USAID: 1) procures and provides health commodities; 2) provides technical assistance to improve partner countries’ management of the supply chain; and, 3) collaborates with key international stakeholders to support global health initiatives. The project encompasses three primary objectives: global commodity procurement and logistics; systems strengthening to support in-country supply chain management; and collaboration via strategic engagement to improve long-term global supply of health commodities.   The Population & Reproductive Health and Maternal & Child Health Procurement Specialist receives requisition orders (ROs) from country offices and other clients, ensures contract, obtains sign off from clients on finalized ROs, receives restocking requests from the Plan team, ensures compliance for procurement and supplier contracts. The Procurement Specialist also is responsible for completing the necessary sourcing events (including drafting and issuing RFXs, confirming products specifications, completing procurement requirements evaluation, and drafting the subcontracts for execution with vendors). The Procurement Specialist will create purchase orders (POs) and inbound orders (IOs) and coordinate with suppliers, GHSC-QA team, and Deliver/Return team to ensure proper shipment of orders. In coordination with the strategic sourcing, market dynamics, and supplier relation management team the Procurement Specialist will actively participate in the management of the assigned commodity category(ies) all while actively supporting the allocation and fulfillment strategies in coordination with the Plan team.
