PSI is committed to working with Ministries of Health to build quality, sustainable consumer-powered PHC systems that meet the needs of the 21st century and beyond, enabled by assisted self-care, digital interaction and the formal engagement of private drug shops, pharmacies, clinics, community health workers and innovative social enterprises.    PSI is looking for an experienced, dynamic Advisor to clearly define, develop and communicate PSI’s unique role in contributing to PHC systems strengthening. This is an exciting, new position at PSI that will require creative, strategic thinking combined with tangible, results-driven execution. You’ll need to be familiar with multiple PHC models that address continuity of care challenges and have a drive toward innovation and transformation opportunities. We collaborate closely with corporations, private philanthropists, and foundations to conceptualize the future of global health and translate those visions into reality.   We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Major Gifts & Annual Giving Lead to play a critical role in leading and executing a compelling major gifts strategy, building out and amplifying this function whilst strengthening the Annual Giving program within the Global Fundraising Department. The Major Gifts & Annual Giving Lead will be responsible for creating new relationships with individual donors who have turned their support to PSI recently and solicit and close increased annual gifts and special transformation gifts.   The Major Gifts & Annual Giving Lead will spend a substantial amount of time directly interacting with donors and prospective donors, helping donors fulfill their passions and interests through giving to PSI. The Major Gifts & Annual Giving Lead will work behind the scenes as well--assessing next steps in individual donors’ engagement, deploying other staff as necessary for building donor relationships with PSI, coordinating with annual giving, planned giving, and engagement of high-net worth individuals, and providing substantive input and guidance to fundraising communications, acquisition, and creative campaigning strategy.    Sound like you? We are looking for someone who can apply their skills and experience with a purpose-driven impact lens to drive meaningful change. Our approach will require experience of systems change transformational partnerships.  We are looking for someone who can apply their skills and experience to drive meaningful change with measurable impact. Our approach will require experience in driving transformational partnerships that engage leading business and government innovators, philanthropists, policy experts, and social entrepreneurs to develop and scale new solutions to pressing problems.   This unique role works across global teams and sectors, internal and external, essentially breaking silos. You will collaborate with PSI donors as well as programmatic, technical and field teams to facilitate the design of scalable, sustainable projects that test innovations in global health.   You must have excellent interpersonal skills and a knack for motivating colleagues who do not report to you – creating and navigating strong professional relationships and informal networks. We need you to think and dream big but have the agility to zoom from the forest to the trees, and to dive into and manage the day-to-day details.
